West Belfast Community Safety Initiative

West Belfast Community Safety Team
Our Community Safety Workers play a key role in improving safety and wellbeing in West Belfast.
By supporting residents in reporting crime and addressing safety concerns, they help strengthen trust and collaboration within the community.
They work closely with statutory bodies, including the police, housing associations, and other stakeholders, to resolve issues such as antisocial behaviour, illegal dumping, and drug misuse. Acting as a bridge between residents and statutory bodies, the team is dedicated to fostering a safer, cleaner, and more peaceful environment.

West Belfast Community Safety Team
Our Community Safety Team met with residents of Springhill to discuss local concerns around anti-social behaviour in the area.
It was a positive and constructive conversation, with residents openly sharing their experiences and ideas. Together, we explored how we can address these challenges and strengthen community safety across Springhill.
We’re committed to:
✅ Tackling issues head-on
✅ Strengthening communication between residents & our team
✅ Building a safer, more welcoming Springhill for everyone
We look forward to continuing to work together to make Springhill a safer and stronger community for all.
